Impact of a Full Shopping Cart

Clientele families receive weekly a full shopping cart of high quality foods that makes a big impact in their households as we offset/eliminate weekly grocery bills.  This helps them save crucial monies that they are then able to utilize for bills, expenses, reduce debts, medical co-pays, etc. as they get on the fast track to self-sufficiency.

Thank You, Bloomberg!

We are so thankful for the fresh, organic baby leaf romaine lettuce from the Bloomberg gardens that was delivered to Bentley! This was such a wonderful addition to our distribution efforts this week to the clientele families as we continue to facilitate healthy eating, diet and nutrition for these households.  Thank you, Bloomberg!

Farm, fresh produce is always welcome at Bentley and we thank Von Thun Farms for such delicious and healthy produce. Lettuces are in season! Our weekly pickups of produce at the farm is such a wonderful addition to our distribution efforts to clientele families.

COVID – 19 UPDATE

Bentley Community Services has remained open since the start of COVID-19 and continues to serve current and new clientele families.  We have successfully completed our eighth week of distribution.  Our modified operations have been drive thru for pack up/pick up outdoors, following the federal, state and local guidelines for social distancing. We have been working closely with our primary providers and we thank Trader Joe’s, McCaffrey’s, ShopRite and Stop & Shop for helping us in our distribution efforts each week.

Tomorrow starts Bentley’s Community Bag Program at the Stop & Shop at 24 Summerfield Boulevard in Dayton, NJ!  For every shopping tote purchased for $2.50 in the month of May, Bentley receives $1.00!  Please direct your donation to Bentley Community Services on the tag attached to the bag. Thank you for your support of Bentley Community Services.

Thanking Our Generous Providers of Fresh Foods

At Bentley, we are always grateful to our generous providers for their generous donations of high quality, fresh foods that we pick up from them weekly. We especially thank them during this time of the virus outbreak and uncertainty as they continue to do their best in providing us with what they are able to that helps keep Bentley operations open while we all work to serve our clientele and neighbors in need. We were able to complete yet another week of successful distribution with limited helping hands.
